Dry ice blasting accessories

We offer you a comprehensive accessory program for our dry ice blasting devices , allowing you to optimally expand them for each specific application purpose.

Our dry ice blasting accessories at a glance

Abrasive sets

At the request and suggestion of many users and customers, we have developed an abrasive set for our devices. With this abrasive set, you have the possibility to specifically enhance the strong cleaning performance with dry ice pellets by adding an additive.

By combining our dry ice blasting devices with the abrasive set, the following operating states are available to you:

  • Blasting with dry ice

  • Combined blasting with dry ice and additive

The installation of the abrasive set on the DCA Deckert dry ice blasting devices is as always user-friendly and can be done with just a few steps. The application spectrum is expanded to include the processing of metallic and mineral surfaces, such as:

  • Rust removal

  • Paint stripping

  • Cleaning of open-pored surfaces

  • Material removal

  • Roughening of surfaces before painting/coating, etc.

Abrasive media

Glass beads

Glass beads, with a diameter of 150 – 250 µm, are the smallest and hardest abrasive media used by DCA ice blasting devices.

Due to their hardness, they are well suited for processing metallic surfaces
Glass beads are used, for example, for removing surface rust and for blasting surfaces to a metallic clean.

Suitable for: LT 50 / DC 50 / LT 280 / DC 280 / LT 380 / DC 480

Warning: Unsuitable for soft surfaces such as soft plastic, textiles, and wood

Walnut shells

Walnut shell granules, with a diameter of 0.2 – 0.45 mm, are also suitable for processing metallic surfaces. They can be used to strip paint or remove heavy soiling.

Due to its softer structure, deep surface treatments
are less feasible. However, ice blasting with walnut shell granules allows for gentler abrasive treatment of surfaces.

Warning: Unsuitable for soft surfaces like soft plastic, textiles, and wood

Soda powder

Due to its light structure, it is a very soft blasting medium. It forms a fine particle cloud when blasting.
Suitable grains are 0.2 – 0.5 mm.

Due to its good water solubility and its biological safety, it is easily removed with water after work is done. Especially for outdoor use, such as cleaning facades, it can be used effectively. ALSO applicable on plastic surfaces.

Warning: Unsuitable for blasting in cabins and indoor areas.

Nozzles

Our angled nozzles enable you to reach hard-to-access areas.

Our flat nozzles increase the surface performance of our devices.

Especially for abrasive applications, we also offer hardened versions of our nozzles.

Hose packages

We offer you various hose packages for our devices to extend the standard hoses. Additionally, you can obtain compressed air hoses in different lengths from us.
